Otago result is ouuuuut (:

Outttt, out youu go!

Haha, today there were two things 'out'.

First : I went out for a A Picnic ; The Story Of Us at KLCC's park/garden with KMBians of Batch Kita. I jalan-jalan dalam ktm, panjat-panjat lrt stop dekat Ampark Park. Then aku menjerit sepuas hati cari teksi pergi Hosipital PUSRAWI ambil dompet yang dah setahun tertinggal dekat situ waktu buat hospital attachment masa muda-muda. Nasib baik not graduated from medical degree yet, kalau tak, habis tertinggal dompet dalam usus kecil (small instestine) sebab buat beli belah makanan yang siap dicerna oleh enzyme menjadi small, simple form molecules yang siap sedia diserap. Lepas dah ambil dompet, terusss melantak dekat klcc. And banyak gambar kenang-kenangan, walaupun there is nothing much that i got from the event. But i do learn a few things. (: Balik rumah dalam pukul 11 pm baru sampaiii.

Second : Otago result is ouuuuuuuuuuuuuut. And outt you go Fariz! Haha (: I didn't get the offe. I know Allah plan better for me. New Castle Australia nexxxxt. 20 June 2011 ;p But, i still got an offer this time, as a reserved list. Previously my name also in the reserve list for PMC, but they didn't give any letter, but this time, i received an email from the interviewer itself. And i'm so happy! Hahaa (padahal reserve je ponnn)

and below is the content of the letter.

Dear  Fariz

 INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SPECIAL PROGRAMME (ISSP)

I enjoyed meeting you at the Kolej recently and have since tried to imagine what it must be like returning to college after you have left and when the place is closed!  I valued the opportunity to learn something of your background, your interests, your dreams and your commitment to study medicine. Thank you for your interest in studying medicine at the University of Otago.  Your interview and essays show that you have prepared your application very carefully and thoughtfully.  Thank you for all that work.

Choosing a small number of students from among so many capable, promising and friendly people was very difficult indeed, but there are only a limited number of places at the Medical School.   Although I can not offer you a place in the ISSP immediately, would you agree to accept a place on the list of reserves?  That means that should one of the students who have been given a conditional offer of a place not achieve the IB grade of 38, then you would be offered that place in Health Sciences First Year (2012) with the prospect of a guaranteed place in second year medicine in 2013 provided that you met the necessary academic and behavioural standards.

If you are interested in becoming a reserve, please let me know as soon as possible and I will notify you immediately a “vacancy” arises.

I hope you do well with your IB exams.

Kind regards.

Yours sincerely

(Dr Warwick Brunton)
Associate Dean (International)
